Important homeschooling activities here folks... we learned that the word “Lego” comes from the Danish word “leg godt”, which
means “play well!” We're taking that to heart.

Stephen had a funny experience the 2nd week of school. He had dropped off a tub of yummy soft
peppermints and a simple thank you note to Mr. Whitehead (the Principal) and
Staff for a great 1st wk. He left it with the Secretary, didn't meet anyone else. He was later sitting in 7th pd Spanish class, and heard a knock at the door, and Mr. W sticks
his head in and asks if a Mr. Stephen Chalk is there. Everyone oooohs like he's
in trouble, and he walks out, and Mr. W is holding his note in hand, saying how
much he appreciated that Stephen took the time to do such a nice thing.
Gratitude...it goes a long way!! 8-)
