December fun!

Lots of exciting things going on to close out 2016! So grateful that Dad had his pacemaker changed out -- fun going to support him at the hospital with everyone.  A sweet friend Jill Bluth wrote this about Dad's surgery: "Isn't it wonderful to realize in this situation that your family, because of the work you've all collectively done, has that many more ancestors ministering to your dad right now. You see each other there, but there are so many more with you and him!"

Cousin bday!

Kenny's Spelling bee, and getting his 3rd degree brown belt!

Eating out with Mom and Dad... they are always so cute!

Playing with cute Savannah... we'll miss her when she leaves for college in a few months!! Here's an awesome video of Sav and her friends caroling to us!  https://youtu.be/3R7jY0I0Vy0

Christmas morning at our home!

Babysitting wars!

One fun night, the Boyds kept 1 Steff's kids and we kept 2, and it was game on for entertaining them! All night texts with pics flew back and forth... good times had by all. I think we won... 8-)

Me: Playing with Jenny's nativity finger puppets...

Kas: Doing great here...

Me: Just taught Kerrigan how to juggle and Preston how to solve a Rubik's Cube. (check out Kerrigan's tired face...we  had to take this pic 10 times to get that top orange to look suspended perfectly in air!!)

Kas: Having a talent show...

Me: Well, Kas is entertaining her crew but we are teaching life skills over here.  Kerrigan has just become a certified computer programmer while Kenny is finishing up his yoga session with Preston. (downward dog position)

Kas: Ribbon dancing...

Me: Studying wound care and CPR

Kas: Painting in Tubby time...

Me: Prepping for veterinary school here as we examine canine anal cavities.

Kas: Taking survival class...

Me: Strange, we must be in tune, we're working on nighttime exploration for camping merit badges.

Kas: Learning circus tricks...

Me:  Arranging some fresh, vibrant flowers for Stephanie...

Kas: Can't talk now, drum lessons in progress...

Me: (Daron) Melanie asked that you show respect for the family scripture study time.

Kas: Caroling to the neighbors...

Me: Kas that's funny how your neighbor's entry looks exactly like yours. We'll it's getting close to bed time and still this brilliant child offered to peel all our carrots.

Jen: Tristan just finished his Eagle Scout project over here
