We kidnapped the kids for Labor Day and went to a downtown Houston hotel for a getaway. As they're growing older, time is zipping by so much faster everyday... they're so busy with activities, that unless we carve out time we don't get to play. This was a perfect blackout ~ we love laughing with them. They all 3 make us so happy. A friend emailed me about them: "I feel like both of your kids show
leadership even amongst the Mormon bubble. I see it. I've been reading Blake's texts
and there's a distinct diff between Kassie and other people's comments on
the chain. She's a leader. And Stephen yesterday at our house spoke with more
maturity, poise, manners and confidence than most 19 year old missionaries that
sit at our table." So sweet!
