Ageint, Kas’ ACL surgery, Stevie appendectomy, Kenny’s license!

Finally— so great having all the family together for the summer! Fourth of July, axe throwing, guitar hero, Scout singing, kids working at Ageint, Kassie’s ACL meniscus repair surgery, (took a little over two hours, ACL was repaired, meniscus was stitched up but not removed so that is good for future mobility, lower chance of arthritis. She’ll be on blood thinners and baby aspirin, and a boot walking peg-leg style for 6 weeks, no exercise until then but she can walk on it in 3 days) cousin visits, Kenny’s drivers license, his first accident (not his fault- a guy pulled out right in front of him!), Stevie’s emergency ambulance ride & appendectomy, Scout meetingTiger, exercising, Kenny sings in church, and getting called to teach Seminary🌈

Always remember your morning prayers, you never know how we are protected! This makes our 2nd child that’s walked away unharmed from a TOTALED car accident in the past 8 months… Thankfully no injuries! He was slowly driving home from school and made it into the neighborhood when a 2023 BMW jetted out across 2 lanes of traffic right in front of Kenny who couldn’t break fast enough, so Kenny crashed right into him. Totally the man’s fault, but left our little 10yr old brown civic undrivable - driver seat belt won’t click and the airbag message blinking like it might explode any second. The guy was actually a cop, who said to Daron and me when we arrived: “well my feelings are hurt… That’s a brand new car he hit!” Really? Well maybe you shouldn’t have pulled out in front of someone!🙄
