Kenny starting over at a new school again, summer family birthdays, substitute teaching in a new district, packing the kids up, back to school college blessings, and the road trip to BYU… So much fun! Love that these three kids are making great choices and becoming the wonderful people God wants them to be! Definitely shed tears at the airport waving goodbye to them in their cute new Camry that they will share- So grateful for Daron’s solid job that gives us employment & security and enabled us to get the kids a car to use at college. They worked out a system of where to Park it and how to split gas costs😂 My post about dropping them off-
We loved taking Stephen and Kassie to BYU this week for school! They are excited to be freshman together and take on the world- both are dynamic and centered and strong. I adore everything about these two, especially that they chose to enroll in two classes together - Geology and Religious Studies 🦖🙏 I cherish the years I was blessed to spend with my brother Sterling at Rice, and am so excited for them to have each other at college too... so unique and special! ❤️ As I watched Daron help them set up their computers, I reflected back on my Dad 25 years ago bringing me to BYU and helping me set up my computer - how I wish I had a picture of that now💕 Grateful for the huge family network they have in the Utah area... so many uncles, aunts and cousins nearby👨👩👧👦 Grateful to my cute nephew Stefan for hanging with Kenny and Scout back home. We’re relating to all the parents out there dropping off their college kids (or for military or missions or marriage)... “CHANGE: A bend in the road is NOT the end of the road... unless you fail to make the TURN!” Here’s to all of us trying our best to make the turn ~ may God send His holy angels to protect those which He so generously loaned to us to love and protect and cherish now and thru the eternities💓 #SeedlingsTurnOvernightToSunflowrs
