"Texas youths issued a family history challenge with promises"
About 200 youths gathered in September for Klein Stake's first youth family history conference. In addition to workshops on researching tips first counselor President Tom Kunz issued a challenge with specific blessings should they choose to accept.
“It was inspiring to imagine all those people on the other side cheering for me individually," said Kassie Chalk, a Beehive in the newly formed Gleannloch Farms Ward.Kassie’s brother, Stephen, a teacher in the Young Men program, added, "President Kunz's promise was very motivating. It made me feel empowered to know that we'll receive blessings if we put the work into it, if we put our shoulder to the wheel."
