"I'm so glad we're charging!"

Putting the kids to bed tonight, Kenny said "I'm so glad we're charging!" - when Mom was here, she told the kids that when we go to sleep it's like when a computer gets a power source and recharges, so they can wake up feeling good. So when he got into bed, he happily called that out.  Cute how kids retain things we say. And they definitely heard great things from Grandma and Grandpa while they were here - good current event updates, good FHE lessons, and mostly just the great loving spirit of 'relax, slow down, and enjoy every moment.' We had a great visit with them. Here's Kenny, flying his paper airplanes (that Dad made for all the kids) off our balcony with Mom watching. They've been flying those airplanes all day, nonstop. The cheapest gifts always seem to be the best for kids!

After we took them to the airport today (that was hard after a month of having them here... Kenny told Grandma that she could pretend that she was walking over to pick him up from school everyday when she got back to Texas) I started cleaning and moving things around so I wouldn't be sad... we really like the couch/table switch.

Stephen was the only student to get a perfect "bien!" on his French dialogue he memorized for class today - here he is speaking it for us. It's hard to hear - but he sounds great.
