All the mama feels — rushing towards empty nesting, while trying to slow down time. Getting ready for mission while finishing senior year at Lake Creek! Last day of Seminary, going to the temple for the first time, turning 19, mission packing, final shave with Stevie, final cousin late night hot chicken run, last family musical numbers, fathers blessing and endless Scout snuggles. Kids are doing great out in Provo, Steevie flies to Colorado to hang with Tanya, Kassie is loving play dates with friends. And then just like that…Kenny is now Elder Chalk! Scout loved being his exercise companion bright and early☀️ Fun going to see his pediatric dentist for the last time— After Elder Chalk’s last cleaning, Dr. McCandless hugged him and said “Go change the world! This is the face I’d want to see if I was out there and lost.”🥹🙏 Bonus: Roadtrip with mom and dad seeing Stefan at the San Antonio temple while he’s in the army. We’re grateful for these unforgettable weeks of fun memories- he’s ready for this Adventure! Home MTC was so fun with awesome visitors. The airport send off to the Mexico MTC for 4 weeks, then off to Rosario, Argentina!
