Stephen's going to Guatemala!!
Opening his call: https://youtu.be/vJB4pZHdsz4
We are so proud and excited for him! He hopped right on Duolingo after he got his call to refresh his 2 years of Spanish... Plus my 2 years of high school espaniolio should come in super handy when we practice habloing around the casa!! What a fun night, it was so humbling to see the crowd of friends who came to see him open his Mission call... including Aunt Jenny from Dallas!! And all the Chalk aunts/uncles followed live on Instagram! Cars lined the streets to and from our house -- we even got to replace the front glass storm door from an excited visitor who ran right into it and cracked it, poor guy! New change in mission rules, now they can call home weekly so that will be fun to get to hear from him more often! Not enough words of gratitude to all the people who helped make him into the young man he is today -- family, friends, years of wonderful experiences.

I can't believe he's a missionary! I still see him as a 3 yo sunbeam. Wonderful mission! Been there done that myself. Love those humble people. ❤️ The handmade corn tortillas and black beans are out of this world
So exciting! Stephen will be amazing, he's so friendly and approachable. I know the people will feel comfortable and safe with him.
