What a humbling experience to have Stephen receive the Melchezidek priesthood and become an Elder! Daron's blessing was beautiful, about patience,
his upcoming growth experiences, being a leader, reaching out for leadership
opportunities, loving and learning, and our High Councilman said afterward that
during the prayer he had a vision of Stephen receiving ability beyond his
years to emphasize in love with people on his mission. Cute cousin Laura Guthrie, who we never see, happened to be in the hallway as we went in for hte blessing, and reminded me of how Dad said he would be near to us, a miraculous and direct message from him to tell us he'd be there in the room. ❤️ Bishop texted this afterwards, so cute. Next steps: Meet with Pres Bikman on Wednesday
for temple recommend interview, missionary interview and Mel Priesthood
Interview. If passing, then High Council approves MO recommendation from
Bikman. Name will be presented on Sunday for sustaining vote. Received Mel Priesthood
shortly after. Receives living ordinance recommend. Schedule time for temple. I
am going to line up temple prep classes. Once endowment, will be recommended to
service as temple worker. Gets his mission call. Goes on mission and is
instrument in Lord's hand. Life is transformed. Comes home honorably. Has
successful life with a wonderful wife and children. Serves the lord valiantly
to the end. Live forever with his family in the celestial kingdom. Of course
there are a few details in between but that is the short version (spoiler alert
I know). O, and parents love deeply no matter what happens.
  No cavities at Stephen's last appointment with our beloved pediatric dentist Dr McCandless who has given hundreds to both the boy's Eagle projects. She asked all about the mission and said "if this kid showed up at my door I would say, I'm in, sign me up!" So cute. 
Callister is baptized!! Lots of fun family playtime afterwards, including in cold hottub!!
