Our last family vacation before Stephen graduates ~ Thanksgiving in Alaska! We loved our vacation there -- 5 degree temps, temple baptisms, gorgeous long drives, "moose attack zones", breaktaking views, bear tracks, ice skating in our boots, late night card playing, dog parties, pizza/hot cocoa/3 theatre movies, wolves, too foggy for Northern Lights but fun looking for them, glaciers, Mt. Denali views, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Cntr, Safeway meals for Thanksgiving Day! Dogsledding didn't work out because of the ice but we got to still do the meet-and-greet for 3 hours with the precious huskies! So memorable, and so grateful we missed the big Anchorage quake by just a week... days after we left, the roads we had driven were left in crumbles!

OUR THANKSGIVING DAY MEAL ~ Safeway to-go boxes! Awesome, Alaska down home cookin.
Lucky to get added to a youth group doing baptisms... the temple had been closed for frozen pipes and JUST re-opened our last day there! So fun, water was a bit colder than the Houston temple...
