Excited to get back into the craziness -- this year is different with Stephen a senior, Kassie a 10th grade Bearkadette, and after Kenny went to Doerre about 3 weeks we decided to "make all his dreams come true" and let him homeschool (again)! Daron's back-to-school father's blessings were lovely -- "blessing of clairvoyance of thought... building steadfastness... having a quickened mind." Bella was super sad to see the kids leave...

Labor Day weekend ~ Stephen's last time to put up scout flags! We took off for the 3 day weekend to Belleville to explore the famous Newman's Castle! Built in 8 yrs, only one in US with a full moat, drawbridge and authentic medieval paraphernalia, yummy treats at their bakery, cute town with blacksmith shop, totally fun trip!
Fun hotel night then explored Houston's waterwall, Rothco Chapel, and Rice!
